If your device is running Android 2.3.7 or older, you won’t be able to sign in to your Google account on that device

If you have an Android device that’s running on Android 2.3.7 or older, you won’t be able to sign in to your Google account anymore.

Google products and services like Gmail, YouTube, and Maps will no longer work on the old devices.

Google says it’s part of ongoing efforts to keep users safe to phase out old technology.

If you’re on Android 2.3.7 or older after that September 27th deadline, you’ll still be able to use some Google services if you’re logged in on your device’s browser, according to Google.

But Google says devices on Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) will continue to be able to log in to Google accounts.
