Key suspect in Maddy McCann case charged in separate assaults
A 45-year-old man has been charged with several sex offences
The German man is alleged to have committed the offences in Portugal across a 17 year period.
He has been identified as Christian Brueckner, who is suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, who was taken from a Portuguese apartment complex in 2007.
It’s believed he was in the same town at the McCann’s at the time of Madeleine’s disappearance.
Brueckner is currently serving a seven year sentence for a rape he committed in Portugal in 2005.
