Joe Biden: “Unidentified objects not linked to China spy program”

U.S. President Joe Biden believes the unidentified objects seen floating across his nation’s skies are not linked to China’s spy program

Since an American fighter jet shot down a suspected spy balloon on February 4, three other objects have been taken out by the U.S. military.

Early indications suggest these were private balloons and not linked to China’s surveillance programme.

Biden also revealed he intends to discuss the matter with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping as he urges Beijing to engage in dialogue.

But the U.S. president fell short of apologising to Xi.

It’s important to note China has rejected accusations the initial spy balloon is part of a spy network.

But the press conference took an awkward turn when Biden had to fend off claims his family’s business relationships may have impacted his judgement.
