Israel airstrikes have ramped up throughout Tuesday after a brief lull, with the country’s defense force confirming it has struck nine rocket launch sites in Gaza.

The military is also targeting the expansive Hamas’ underground tunnel system, the homes of Hamas commanders, and a so-called “anti-tank squad”.

“The first priority for the Palestinian political leadership now is to have Israel stop its crimes and massacres against his people in Gaza”

Reports suggest that more than 2,500 Palestinians are now without houses and 38,000 are displaced.

Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu says the Hamas militant group has “received blows it did not expect” and has been set back by “years”.
