Israel is running ahead of the world in its vaccination rollout with the government already preparing for administering a fourth shot of the coronavirus vaccine

The Prime Minister says he has already ordered health officials to begin preparations to tackle the fast-spreading omicron variant.

People over 60 and health care workers will be the first to receive their booster shot.

The PMs office is yet to receive bureaucratic approval but is expecting a response this week.

Israel’s population was one of the first in the world to be vaccinated earlier this year… and the very first to rollout its booster campaign in the middle of the year.
