Israeli militants broke the ceasefire with Gaza, launching balloon firebombs
Israel just confirmed its aircraft struck Hamas military compounds with balloon firebombs at 1am local time.
The bombs caused several fires in the South of Israel.

The attack follows thousands of Israeli protesters taking to the streets in East Jerusalem
This comes after thousands of right-wing nationalists marched through Jerusalem yesterday, chanting “death to Arabs”.
A Hamas spokesman told the ABC Palestinians would continue to pursue their “brave resistance and defend their rights and sacred sites” in Jerusalem.
Hamas had previously warned that it would see the protests as “provocation”.

In a statement, the Israeli military said that it was “ready for all scenarios, including renewed fighting in the face of continued terrorist acts emanating from Gaza”.
The attack comes weeks after Israeli airstrikes in May killed over 250 Palestinians.
The airstrikes seem to have quietened at 3am this morning local time
