Is the U.S. dollar really at risk of losing its top spot globally?

BRICS announces bloc countries will continue to switch away from the U.S. dollar.

 
Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa are working to develop a new currency to be used in place of the U.S. dollar.

India and the United Arab Emirates already announced they will be signing an agreement to no longer use the U.S. dollar for trade between the two nations with other countries looking to follow suit.

BRICS announced that bloc countries will continue to move away from the U.S. dollar.

A diplomat added that developing a“new currency”will not be on the agenda of the bloc’s summit in South Africa next month.
