“I was the girl from Suits” – Markle addresses self-doubt at UK summit

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is back on UK soil, receiving a rapturous applause as she arrived for the opening of the One Young World Summit

Delivering her first speech in England in two years, Markle urged young leaders from around the world to “cement their place in history” and “create a better future”.

The event sees youth delegates from 202 countries and territories connect via a global platform to promote positive change.

Markle has been a One Young World counsellor since 2014, and spoke of the nervousness she felt when speaking at her very first summit.

She says she is thrilled to be back again with her husband, Harry by her side.

Harry and Meghan are staying at their former home, Frogmore cottage in Windsor, but it’s unclear whether they will visit the Queen or Charles during their stay.

The trip comes just days after Meghan’s controversial interview with The Cut magazine, where she said it takes “a lot of effort” to forgive.
