U.S. agencies testified on combatting Chinese Communist Party aggression

More hearings held in Washington D.C. on the grave threat that China poses to the United States, its national security – and the world.

The new Congress is working to counter the serious national and economic threat communist China poses to the United States.

U.S. officials from the State Department, along with several other agencies are testifying on combating Chinese Communist Party aggression.

The hearing is taking place before the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

House lawmakers are sounding off over China’s aggressive tactics in recent years—including their massive spy program targeting U.S. military bases, stealing intellectual property, and Beijing’s alleged cover-up of the origins of the Covid pandemic.

“We are the good guys—that even on our worst day, the rest of the world is still looking to us for leadership,” said Rep. Mike Gallagher, the Chairman of the House Select China Committee.

“I think it illustrates that a world in which people are free is a world unsafe for the CCP.”

U.S. lawmakers say bipartisan support is critical to successfully counter this threat from China.
