There are Fresh fears in Hong Kong that some people may be stopped from leaving the city.

Hong Kong’s government passed a new immigration bill that will tighten its grip on refugees and immigrants.

Including a crack down on the number of illegal Chinese immigrants and those who have overstayed their visas.

The bill also gives Hong Kong the power to prevent any passengers or crew members from boarding a flight, raising some alarm bells with residents.

But the government denied the claims it will impact local residents’ ability to leave or enter the Asian financial centre.
