Germany to allow Leopard 2 tanks in Ukraine war

Germany will send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine to help fight Russia’s invasion, and allow other countries such as Poland to do the same

 
Leopard 2 are made in Germany and Berlin needs to approve their export.

Germany has been hesitant to send its own because of concerns it could escalate the conflict with Russia.

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky believes 300 Leopard tanks would help it defeat Russia.

Thanks to Ukraine’s desperate desire, the company that makes the Leopard 2 tanks now expects sales to go as high as $13 billion by 2025.
