Controversial United States primetime host Tucker Carlson is under fire for pushing a Pro-Putin agenda

Tucker Carlson has long taken on the self-proclaimed title of “Tucker The Untouchable.”

The popular presenter remains the biggest drawcard at Fox News. However, there are suggestions he is backing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Despite the ongoing concerns about disinformation on Carlson’s platform, no action has  been taken by Fox News executives to rein him in.

Even Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has praised Fox News and its coverage of the war in Ukraine.

Lavrov says Fox news is the only network in the United States “trying to present some alternative points of view”.

In a series of shows just days ago, Carlson devoted segments to promoting Moscow’s propaganda claims that there are American biological warfare labs in Ukraine.

US officials say the labs are Ukrainian and part of a sequences called the Biological Threat Reduction Program that has received some U.S. support.

The White House warns this false information could be used by Putin to stage a chemical or biological attack.

Meanwhile, even Russian Television hosts are praising “Tucker the Untouchable”.

The co-host of the Russia’s 60 minutes programme says “our acquaintance, Tucker Carlson, obviously has his own interests—but lately, they’re more and more in tune with our own.”

Carlson’s continuous quesitoning of the of the war in Ukraine and his slant toward Russia is having widespread concerns. These are accusations Carlson has firmly denied.

It comes just days after his own colleagues were killed in the war, as a result of Russian agression.

Fox News cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski and journalist Oleksandra Kuvshynova, died when their vehicle was hit near Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. Another Fox News reporter, Benjamin Hall, was also injured in the attack.
