Roger Federer says he is “definitely” going to return to tennis following a long-term injury

Former world-number-one, Roger Federer has locked in playing at the top-level of tennis next year.

Federer will turn 41 this August but says he will compete in the Laver Cup in London, and at his home tournament in Basel.

The 20-time grand slam champion has not played since July last year, when he lost in the quarter-finals of Wimbledon.

But he says his focus is on being able to train fully, before he decides “where and when” he will play in 2023.

He also congratulated his long-time rival, and friend Rafael Nadal, who recently won a record 14th title at Rolland Garros.

“I was happy for him that he did it again. Hats off to Rafa. After the 10th, 11th time, I already thought, ‘This can’t be’. He keeps raising the bar. It’s gigantic,” Federer says.

The $799 Meta Ray-Ban Display was billed as a breakthrough, yet the much-hyped live demo stumbled. The glasses ignored instructions during a cooking demonstration, and Zuckerberg’s Neural Band failed to answer a call from his CTO, forcing a clumsy workaround on stage.

Zuckerberg blamed WiFi issues, but the misfires raised doubts over whether Meta’s glasses are ready for prime time. For now, the vision of seamlessly blending AI with everyday eyewear seems more promise than reality.

Donald Trump has claimed Jimmy Kimmel was taken off air because of poor ratings, as Democrats accuse the move of being an attack on free speech.

Jimmy Kimmel Live, a late-night staple since 2003 on Disney-owned ABC, was suddenly suspended after the host criticised Trump’s response to the murder of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

The outspoken comedian, a frequent critic of Trump, mocked the former president’s reaction, sparking outrage among ABC’s local affiliates who pulled the show from their schedules.
