An Indian Finance official says the country has gone through a deep dive, consulting with domestic and institutional stakeholders.

India has not yet finalised crypto-specific legislation, but the official confirmed India is working out some sort of a global regulation to determine what role India can play in crypto.

Seth sought to clarify comments that appeared to hint at India possibly banning cryptocurrency.
