Dr Fauci says face masks may become more common during cold and flu seasons in the US
White House’s Chief Medical Advisor Dr Anthony Fauci says the US might see face masks becoming more common during cold and flu season.
Fauci said the data clearly shows the use of face masks diminishes respiratory diseases.
The infectious diseases expert said the US has practically had a “non-existent flu season this year.” He believes this is because people were following public health orders to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Biden pushes Americans to get vaccinated
Biden is also urging all eligible Americans to get vaccinated against covid-19.
This comes less than a month after the Biden Administration relaxed public health orders.
The CDC announced that citizens who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear masks when they are outdoors.
