Following an engine on a United Airlines Boeing 777 exploding back in February, the head of the FAA says the agency will mandate new regulation.

The FAA will require the strengthening of a key motor part on Boeing triple seven planes equipped with Pratt & Whitney engines.

The FAA Administrator has told a U.S. House committee that the agency will require Boeing to take critical and immediate action.
