A key focus is on Bob Burak, an Australian businessman who established Tangshan Burak Hotel Supplies in China nearly 30 years ago.
After a nine-month negotiation, Bob secured a rare 100% foreign-owned manufacturing enterprise in Tangshan.
His operations grew from serving Australia to exporting to over 20 countries.
Han Kun, the factory’s general manager, illustrates the local community’s resilience in rebuilding Tangshan after a 1976 earthquake.
Bob’s company maintained its workforce throughout the COVID-19 pandemic by providing housing and meals directly at the facility.
