Tesla boss has rejected nuclear claims

Billionaire Elon Musk denies report he spoke to Russian President Putin about the use of nuclear weapons.

Political scientist Ian Bremmer sparked headlines when he claimed that, “Elon Musk told me he had spoken with Putin and the Kremlin directly about Ukraine.

He later brutally shut down Bremmer by tweeting, “Nobody should trust Bremmer”

This follows Sven Henrich asking Musk if the rumours were true.

Musk tweeting back this “No, it is not. I have spoken to Putin only once and that was about 18 months ago. The subject matter was space.”

Last week the Tesla CEO suggested that Crimea, which is Ukrainian territory under international law, should be formally recognised as part of Russia.

This follows Musk previously saying Ukraine should remain a neutral country.

The world’s richest man also recently suggested that Taiwan should become a “special administrative zone” of China too.
