The Eiffel Tower in Paris has been lit in the colours of Ukraine’s flag
In a mark of support for Kyiv, the tower was swathed in blue and yellow light shortly after sundown in Paris.
The top of the tower is blue, and the bottom in yellow, with the tower’s white spotlight rotating at the top.
The mayor of Paris tweeted “Glory to Ukraine!” as the city paid tribute to the war-torn nation.
This of course comes as France, like other western countries, is boosting its military aid for Kyiv.
