Ed Sheeran tests positive to COVID

British pop sensation Ed Sheeran has revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19

The 30 year-old revealed his positive result in a statement to fans, and stated that he will do interviews and performances from his house while he self-isolates.

“Quick note to tell you that I’ve sadly tested positive for COVID, so I’m now self-isolating and following government guidelines,”
Sheeran wrote on Instagram.

The news come ahead of his highly anticipated fourth studio album “EQUALS” which will be unveiled this coming Friday.

Representatives of Sheeran did not immediately say which performances he was cancelling and which he would carry out from home.

Sheeran’s official website lists no performances before April.

It is also currently unclear if the singer is vaccinated against coronavirus.
