Prime Minister Anthony Albanese came out on top in a fiery final leaders’ debate against Opposition Leader Peter Dutton, according to a panel of undecided voters on Channel 7.

Albanese secured 50% of the votes, dominating key topics like cost of living and tax policy, while Dutton found support mainly on indigenous and defence issues.

The debate featured fierce exchanges over Welcome to Country ceremonies and accusations of dishonesty.

But a major stumble for Dutton came when he couldn’t recall the price of eggs, hurting his credibility on cost-of-living concerns.

With the election looming, this debate could be a crucial turning point.
