Donald Trump’s taxes will be released under a new Supreme Court ruling

The former U.S. President has sought to stop the release of his tax returns for years.

He’s the first president in around four decades not to release his taxes.

It paves the way for the Democratic-led congressional committee to get access to the tax documents.

Trump lawyer James Trusty said his client’s status as a former president made the case quite complex, and it required a special master’s review.

But Chief Judge William Pryor tossed about whether making a decision would intercept any criminal investigations.

Pryor has also sought whether Trump’s lawyers showed any evidence of unlawful activity related to seizure of documents.
