Donald Trump’s social media app is set to launch

Donald Trump’s social media app, Truth Social, will be released on the App Store soon

The beta version of Truth Social has been under testing since last week.

This app will bring Trump back to social media following his ban from Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

The ban comes after he was accused of posting messages inciting violence on the platforms, over a year ago.

The former president’s son, Donald Jr, tweeted a screenshot of Trump’s verified @realDonaldTrump Truth Social account with a post “Get Ready! Your favourite President will see you soon!”

Trump Media & Technology Group will join other technology companies that are positioning themselves as champions of free speech to draw users who feel that social media platforms are suppressing their views.

A company executive says you will be able to block other users on the app.

“There will always be block functionality in the app,” he says.
