Donald Trump hits back at Joe Biden Presidential nomination

A recent poll found that only five per cent of Americans want both Biden and Trump to run again and 38 per cent want neither to run

American voters may have a case of deja vu when it comes to the 2024 Presidential election, likely to be a re-run of the 20020 contest.

Biden’s entry into the race follows Trump’s announcement in November that he would seek a second term after losing to Biden.

A recent poll found that only five per cent of Americans want both Biden and Trump to run again and 38 per cent want neither to run.

Over the past two years, we have heard Trump’s false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

Biden’s campaign features imagery from the Jan 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol and described Republican platforms as threats to American freedom.

Trump has hit back in his own virtual response to Biden’s video announcement.

“There has never been so much contrast between two successive administrations,” Trump said. “Ours being greatness and their (Biden) being failure.

“We will defeat Joe Biden in 2024, rescue our economy, crush inflation and stop the invasion on our sovereign border.”
