The Florida Governor needs to drastically shake up his campaign as he falls from the spotlight after being a serious competitor to Trump 2024

Has Ron DeSantis disappeared? You could be excused for thinking that by looking at recent polling.

The man who many thought could topple Donald Trump is now starting to look anything but.

So what happened to him?

So the current Florida Governor burst onto the national scene after a strong performance in the 2022 mid-term elections.

Since then he has been trying to make a name for himself as a legitimate alternative to Donald Trump.

Then there’s his war on woke. He’s picked fights with Disney and his anti-gay rhetoric is core to his brand.

Despite Donald Trump’s many legal woes, DeSantis has only fallen further and further behind the former President in the polls.

Bruce Wolpe of the U.S. Studies Centre suggested DeSantis needed to “punch Trump in the mouth” if he has any chance of taking the former President on and have any real chance in 2024.

“When we see DeSantis do this because that’s where he has to go, then we’ll know we’re in a really competitive race,” he said.
