On the 50th anniversary of the original decision, streets across America were full of people, demanding last June’s Supreme Court ruling be scrapped.
Joe Biden is urging Congress to pass legislation that codifies reproductive rights.
Vice President Kamala Harris says she will continue the fight against the overturned measures.
“This fight will not be won until we secure this right for every American,” she affirmed. “Congress must pass a bill that protects freedom and liberty, a bill that protects reproductive rights, and President Biden will sign it.”
