President Biden steps aside, endorses Harris as presidential candidate
The Democratic party is about to make a big decision by choosing Vice President Kamala Harris as their candidate for president. They believe that even though she has faced challenges, she can win against Donald Trump.
President Joe Biden, who is 81 years old, announced that he will not run for president again, but will continue to be president until his term ends. He shared his support for Kamala Harris in a message on X.
Biden said, “When I became the party’s nominee in 2020, I picked Kamala Harris as my Vice President, and it was the best decision I made. Today, I fully support Kamala to be our party’s candidate for president.”
Biden’s decision comes after many people in his party worried that he might not be strong enough to run for another four years.
