UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is refusing to admit criminal fault as the Downing Street parties scandal heats up again.

It comes as Johnson was grilled by MPs during question time as 20 fines are handed down by police.

The PM was pushed to admit that laws have been broken, after a number of events were held at Downing Street during the nation’s strict Covid lockdown.

Appearing before the Commons liaison committee, Johnson told his fellow parliamentarians they are just going to have to “hold their horses”.

This is all despite Johnson’s deputy, Dominic Raab saying there were “clearly breaches of the regulations”.

Opposition leader Keir Starmer has also renewed his calls for the Prime Minister to stand down, citing Britain’s ministerial code of conduct.
