It’s happened – Chinese President Xi Jinping has travelled to Moscow to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
Now, Putin says China’s peace plan for Ukraine could be used as a basis to end the war, but it can only be put forward when “they are ready for it in the West and in Kyiv”.
This comes as Japan’s PM Fumio Kishida pledged continued support for Ukraine during a visit to the war-torn nation.
