Chinese factory goes up in flames, 36 dead

In China, a factory fire has left 36 people dead.

It’s the latest in a string of fatal accidents to hit the country in recent years.

State media reports two people are missing and others are being treated for minor injuries.

The fire occurred in the Henan province in the east of the country.

Firefighters spent nearly seven hours putting out the blaze.

It’s understood a number of suspects have been detained in connection to the incident.
