China’s central bank has raised the limit in how much small lenders and foreign banks can borrow of shore.

The move will ease funding shortfall and give a push to expansion plans for firms.

The People’s Bank of China raised the leverage ratio for the funding from 0.8 to 2.

Qualified banks will be given an additional 10 billion yuan initial quota.
