Alleged Brooklyn subway shooter Frank James arrested

Frank James – the man who has been arrested following the Brooklyn subway attack has been charged with a federal terrorism offence.

James was arrested after he was spotted in a McDonald’s, taken into custody in Manhattan’s East Village.

The attack occurred during morning rush hour on New York’s public transport network, leaving five people in critical condition.

All 10 gunshot victims are expected to survive despite their injuries.

FBI officials say James is facing a federal charge for a “terrorist attack on mass transit”, with a sentence of up to life in prison.
