No survivors have been found in the wreckage of the Boeing 737 aircraft which crashed in southern China, as the plane maker and model are placed on watch.

India’s aviation regulator has officially placed the Boeing planes under “enhanced surveillance”.

Authorities will now begin monitoring flight procedures, air worthiness and operations…

132 people were on board the China Eastern Airlines flight before it nosedived into a mountain range.

As rescue teams continue to search through the rubble, it remains unclear what exactly caused the incident.

India’s Civil Association says “flight safety is serious business” and it is “closely studying the situation”.

Boeing says it has been in close communication with our customer and regulatory authorities since the accident.
