Bill Gates and Melinda French have officially finalised their divorce according to court records in Washington
Neither will receive spousal support and French-Gates will not legally change her name
The court approved the twos separation contract which was likely signed before the two announced their divorce in March this year.
It still remains unclear how the two will split their fortune but it is known Melinda has already received $3.3 billion worth of stocks from Bill.
The pair say they are committed to running the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation together post-divorce.
Bill, is currently the fourth-richest person in the world.
