Australian police reveal new developments into William Tyrrell investigation

Australian police have revealed they are now looking for the remains of missing boy William Tyrrell

William disappeared seven years ago from his foster grandmother’s house in the town of Kendall on the state’s Mid-North Coast. 

This next stage of the investigation will be “high intensity” and will involve hundreds of officers and last several weeks.

According to reports, archaeologists – specialists in uncovering and examining human bones, are set to take to three sites near Kendall – areas which have previously never been searched in the seven-year mystery of what happened to the missing boy.

Detective Chief Superintendent Darren Bennett from New South Wales Police force declined to reveal if there had been a tip-off when it comes to the case.

The new search:

Bennett however did state that the search will now focus on new areas as well as utilise new technologies to assist with the location of the missing child.

William Tryrrell was three years old when he went missing from his family property on the morning of September 12, 2014.

Despite a massive search for William, and the investigation continuing over several phases, the little boy has never been found.

Since his disappearance, authorities have put pressure on several suspects who have since been ruled out.
