Among a range of other fresh features, the change generating the most attention is the ability to remove or modify text messages.

At Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference in California, they announced the new iOS16 feature that lets users recall texts sent impulsively or by accident.

This modification is new to Apple users, however, removing a text has already been utilised across a number of other platforms including Instagram, Messenger, Whatsapp and more.

Twitter users are already imagining the way this technology will be used.

Some users are saying they “hate” the new updates and are calling out those who want to unsend messages.

Online people are discussing the technology update and how it could have changed their past, had Apple introduced these features earlier.

Along with this new feature, greater privacy settings for photos and the ability to translate text on an image have also been introduced.
