Amsterdam doesn’t want young British male tourists to visit as city attempts to clean up its reputation

If you’re a young British male – Amsterdam doesn’t want to see you.

Authorities in the Netherlands’ capital city have released a series of videos telling rowdy visitors to “stay away”.

The digital campaign targets men aged 18 to 35 in the UK and is being pushed out by the city’s council.

The initiative is all part of an effort to clean up Amsterdam’s raunchy reputation as Europe’s most liberal party capital.

Another video shows young men being handcuffed in the street and taken to a jail cell.

The ads highlight the risks associated with the excessive use of drugs and booze and will be triggered when people in Britain search terms online like – stag party, cheap hotel or pub crawl Amsterdam.

You can understand why it’s such a popular destination for British tourists.

Return flights from London can cost as little as £50.

UK-based travel agencies also offer stag weekends in Amsterdam, including canal boat cruises with unlimited alcohol, “steak and strip” nights and red light district pub crawls. #trending #featured
