The special master overseeing the documents that were seized from Mar-a-Lago has warned Trump’s lawyers to hurry up and ‘make a case’

Judge Raymond Dearie is the special master overseeing the documents seized from Donald Trump’s Palm Beach estate.

Dearie has now warned Trump’s lawyers to make a case otherwise risk having all of the documents deemed classified.

“If the government gives me prima facia evidence that they are classified documents, and you don’t advance any claim of declassification, I’m left with a prima facia case of classified documents, and as far as I’m concerned, that’s the end of it.”

The Former U.S. President claims the documents seized had been “declassified” but the FBI insists otherwise.

The federal prosecutors argue the documents kept at Mar-a-Lago were ‘top secret’ and should be kept classified.

Following the raid, Trump pushed for a special master to review the documents, but unless he provides proof, it could backfire.
