2022 World Cup poster unveiled in Doha

The official poster for the 2022 World Cup has been unveiled in Doha

In a first, a series of posters has been developed for international football’s biggest event.

The design is mostly in black-and-white, and shows traditional headwear, which will be a theme right throughout November’s tournament.

FIFA says the posters show-off Qatar’s passion for football and shines a spotlight on a talented female artist.

The poster’s designer says it is a celebration of football, Qatari and Arab culture.
