Zelensky hopeful of winning war as Russia continues its aggression

Ukrainian President Zelensky could be right in saying that his country could win the conflict with Russia

Russia has been forced to withdraw forces from the Kyiv region after suffering heavy losses.

The ‘General Staff of Ukraine’s Military’ says two battalion tactical groups of the Russian army were withdrawn into Belarus.

In another recent assessment, the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence says Russia had effectively cut off Ukraine from international maritime trade.

Last week, Russia said it planned to refocus its invasion on the east since then reports of strikes in major cities have continued.

US President Joe Biden told the world Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power” as the White House urgently tries to clarify the remarks.

President Zelensky is seeking further tanks, planes and missiles all in a bid to defend against Russian aggression.

Peace talks between Russia and Ukraine are set to take place in Turkey this week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has insisted on the territorial integrity of his country after earlier suggesting he was ready for a compromise.
