Mark Zuckerberg, among other tech CEOs, faced a barrage of accusations in a tense US Senate hearing on child safety.

The hearing aimed to address growing concerns about online platforms facilitating child exploitation, cyberbullying, and the spread of harmful content.

Senators grilled executives from major tech companies, demanding accountability and concrete actions to ensure the safety of young users.

During the hearing, lawmakers highlighted specific incidents where social media platforms failed to prevent the circulation of explicit or harmful content involving minors.

“Mr. Zuckerberg, you and the companies before us, I know you don’t mean it to be so, but you have blood on your hands,” Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said, “You have a product that’s killing people.”
