Police in India have blamed rats for destroying almost 200kgs of seized cannabis, that were kept in police stations.
A court had asked police to produce the stash as evidence in cases of drug peddling but were told that the marijuana had been destroyed by the rodents.
A report had to be filed, saying some of the cannabis had been eaten by the rats.
This isn’t the first time such an instance has occurred, with another case in India involving over 380 kilos of marijuana also being eaten by the creatures.
