More than half of India’s states and union territories have implemented their own lockdowns to deal with the second wave.

Infectious disease expert Dr Anthony Fuaci has also chimed in… he believes the country needs to break the chain of transmission, and one of the ways to do that is to shut down.
On Monday, India recorded over 365,000 new cases of COVID-19 – the first time daily infections have dipped below 400,000 in four days.
