Will Biden accept Republicans debt ceiling deal offer?

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has offered a deal to Democrats, and bring an end to the debt ceiling stand-off that may cause a governmental shutdown

The GOP leader has issued a statement, saying that he will allow the Democrats to increase the nation’s borrowing limit for two months.

However, the catch is that McConnell will also require Democrats to vote to increase the debt limit… instead of just suspending it.

The statement says “to protect the American people from a near-term Democrat-created crisis, we will allow Democrats to use normal procedures to pass an emergency debt limit extension”.

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden says the Republican party is teetering on the brink of disaster and sending a meteor into the nation’s economy.
