White House reveals extra military aid for Ukraine

The U.S. is sending further support to the Ukrainian military, to assist with the fight against Russia

The United States has announced a further $100 million in military aid for war-torn Ukraine.

The Biden administration revealed the funds will be used for Javelin anti-tank missiles.

The White House has pledged continued support Ukrainian military forces in their fight against Russia.

Earlier this month, the U.S. stated that it was providing $300 million in security assistance to Ukraine, which included laser-guided rocket systems, ammunition, armed drones and other defence equipment.

The U.S. has pledged support for Ukraine since the war begun, with more than $2 billion in aid sent to the country.
