Foreign Ministers from the Group of 20 nations have arrived in Bali, with the war in Ukraine hot on the agenda

The top diplomats from the world’s major developed and developing economies will discuss how they can work together to overcome the current food and energy crises sparked by Russia’s invasion.

As host nation, Indonesia also wants to focus on strengthening global health architecture, making a sustainable shift to renewable energy, and enhancing digital transformation.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will be in attendance… with the pair expected to meet in person for the first time in two years.

Another noticeable attendee is Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, with this trip his first in-person meeting with some of Moscow’s biggest critics since the war began.

Ukraine will participate via video link, with Australia’s foreign minister thanking Indonesia for including the war-torn nation in the summit.
