Queen Elizabeth the second is the longest reigning monarch in British History.

One question many have been wondering is what will happen to all the coins and money that have the Queen’s face on them.

Well, the short answer is they will be replaced, new coins and notes will be printed and old ones will be removed through circulation over time.

Even though they will remain a legal tender until a certain date.

And it’s not just the UK that will be affected by this.

There will be changes in the currencies of many other countries including Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Hopefully, it’s a long time before these changes take place.

But on one sad day, they will.
