In Kharkiv, a Wedding took place in a city under constant shelling
A ceremony of love was underway in the local subway, a common place for shelter for hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians as Russian forces advance over their cities.
The couple celebrated by taking photos against the background of a destroyed historical building and a bombarded city centre – not your usual photo zone post ceremony.
On twitter, the European Expert Association Director Maria Avdeeva says “this is a strong message to the world – Kharkiv is resisting and living.”
This follows local reports from Ukraine that at least 7 people have been killed and 34 have been injured by shelling in Kharkiv.
Russian forces fired at in Kharkiv at about 6 p.m. local time, damaging 10 residential buildings and a trolleybus depot.
This new information comes from the regional prosecutor’s office.
Three children are among those injured.
