NASA’s Artemis rocket launch is ready for take off on Saturday, with the weather forecast working in its favour

NASA’s forecast analyst says the “weather looks good” and won’t be a “show stopper.”

Liftoff is scheduled for 2:17pm local time, from Florida’s Kennedy Space Centre.

It’s welcome news for millions around the world who have been waiting anxiously for this moment.

The rocket was originally scheduled for lift off on Monday, but was hit with technical issues, meaning the rocket remained grounded.

If all goes to plan, the second time around, the rocket will spend 37 days in Space, orbiting around 100km from the moon.
