Scott Morrison is out but before Anthony Albanese was sworn in, one U.S late show host had some harsh words for the former Australian Prime Minister

As Aussies took to the polls to vote in the federal election, Stephen Colbert took aim at Morrison.

The popular host tells viewers that the stakes were high for the “conservative Prime Minister.

Colbert didn’t stop there… bringing up the former PM’s most hated rumour.

“Morrison’s press got so bad that last year the Prime Minister went on the radio to deny he’d ever pooped his pants at McDonald’s,” Colbert told viewers.

That wasn’t the end of it.

“He launched a reboot this week to get some good press, which brings as to the latest Morrison news: Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison tackled a child to the ground during an election photo-op.”

Colbert was referring to the moment Mr Morrison accidentally tackled a kid went viral on social media this week.

Colbert shows the footage as the audience gasped and laughed.
